Comfortable beds 🛏️, a bright bathroom, and a nicely furnished room make this place a cozy spot to stay at. Tons of delicious food options are available here, including meals that are top-notch. the location isn't too shabby either, with the sea and mountains close by, plus plenty of beachside restaurants to choose from.

Check-in was smooth, and I didn't mind providing my data. Cleanliness is top-notch here, and that's a big deal for me. The room was spacious enough, with a fantastic kitchen and great equipment. The bed was ridiculously comfortable with extra pillows and blankets. The balcony was jaw-dropping, offering stunning views of both the mountains and the sea, perfect for stargazing at night. Just be cautious of the windy weather. The tranquility here is mind-blowing, with only the sounds of nature. The location is excellent, with easy access to the beach tavernas. The panoramic views are breathtaking and the privacy is well-maintained. I stayed for three nights, but next time I'll definitely prolong my stay. The owner, George, is friendly and helpful. these apartments exceeded my expectations in every way possible.

We were greeted warmly by the owner who showed us around the super clean and well-equipped studio. He even treated us to a yummy homemade cake and fresh fruit from his garden! The view from our spacious terrace was absolutely breathtaking, overlooking the bay and Gorge of the Dead. The location was perfect, just a short walk to the beach and local restaurants. We loved the peaceful and relaxing atmosphere of the place.
The driveway up to the studios was steep and had a sharp turn, which could be a bit challenging if you're not used to it. However, it's worth the effort for the amazing views and tranquility you'll experience once you reach the top.

I specifically chose to stay at Kato Zakros Palace Apartments for a second time while visiting eastern Crete. The owners are outstanding hosts and the property is situated to delight the senses. Everywhere, one can appreciate the effort expended in the details that make this place such a choice place to stay. The staff is quite friendly, and it is a huge plus that one has free access to a clothes washing machine onsite. The view from the balcony must be one of the best on the island and the surroundings are very beautiful. The rooms are extremely clean and comfortable, with everything needed to cook a meal. The host even provided olive oil, freshly made cake, and figs from the garden. my five night stay was perfect, and I would absolutely stay here again without hesitation.
Totally recommend this hotel.

The panoramic views from our private veranda were absolutely breathtaking. We could see the Minoan Palace, the Valley of the Dead, and the sparkling sea. It felt like a dream come true!
Personally, we found the satellite TV in the rooms and studios to be unnecessary. We were more interested in enjoying the natural beauty of the surroundings, so we didn't really use it.
